TotalEnergies UK to showcase sustainable solvents at CHEMUK 2023
TotalEnergies Marketing UK will once again be at CHEMUK, the largest dedicated trade show for the chemical, laboratory and process industries, shining a spotlight on its range of innovative, high purity, bio-sourced and biodegradable solvents.
For more than 30 years, TotalEnergies has been developing biodegradeable solvents through its proprietary HDA process. This includes BioLife, a range of renewable, pure and biodegradable isoparaffins derived from biomass and created using
TotalEnergies patented technology. BioLife solutions have been developed for a range of industries and applications, including printing and inks, paints and coatings and cosmetics.
Together with the BioLife range, TotalEnergies’ EcoLife service offering brings flexibility to businesses at whatever stage of the net zero journey they are on, providing access to carbon neutral products and delivering new opportunities to significantly reduce the carbon footprint of solvents users.
On day one (Wednesday 10th) of CHEMUK, TotalEnergies Technical Manager Emmanuel Ehenemba will be discussing these issues as part of an industry discussion with the Solvents Industry Association: 'Solvents, Sustainability & Net Zero'
CHEMUK will feature over 400 exhibitors and more than 150 expert speakers, discussing the most pressing issues facing the industry, and the opportunities ready to be seized.
Emmanuel Ehenemba, Technical Manager, Special Fluids Division at TotalEnergies Marketing UK, said:
“TotalEnergies continues to lead the agenda on sustainable solvents and the launch of BioLife back in 2016 was a watershed moment, delivering a solution for the industry which is environmentally friendly without any compromise on performance. Since then, we’ve continued to innovate and expand our sustainable product range, in partnership with our customers and who rightly demand quality, safety and eco-efficiency. It’s exciting to be back at CHEMUK and to be talking about these issues with the industry, and we’re very much looking forward to connecting with our customers, and colleagues in the sector, to hear about their path to net zero and how sustainable solvents can support their journey.”
TotalEnergies’ CHEMUK 2023 team will be based at Stand M84
