What we do

As one of the largest operators in the UK Continental Shelf, TotalEnergies remains committed to producing the energy the UK needs while working hard to reduce carbon emissions from our North Sea platforms and operations. We operate around 30% of the UK Continental Shelf's gas production.

TotalEnergies Gas & Power is one of the leading energy suppliers to industrial, commercial and business customers as well as public service and non-profit organisations. Established in 1987, we supply around 290,000 sites across the UK with around half of our electricity coming from renewable sources.

Together with our joint venture partners, we’re developing offshore wind projects that can deliver over 5GW of renewable power this decade. Our portfolio includes Seagreen (1.1GW), which can produce enough green energy to power more than 1.6m UK homes, as well as the West of Orkney, Outer Dowsing and Erebus offshore wind farms which are under development. 

We manufacture and sell lubricant, bitumen, solvent and fuel products and services, and develop solutions to support the transition of our customers to more sustainable energies, operations and mobility across the automotive, transport, infrastructure, construction, industrial and manufacturing sectors.

Through our fuel network agreement with Harvest Energy, we continue to open service stations across the UK. Our stations offer the public and business customers our full line-up of energy efficient fuels and lubricants, as well as a broad range of products and services, including EV charge points.

We operate one of the largest public electric vehicle charging networks across London. We operate more than 2,500 charge points and continue to expand our network. This is part of TotalEnergies’ wider strategy to operate more than 150,000 electric vehicle charge points across major European cities by 2027.
